Privacy

Short version: an email address, used to send you the thing you asked for, and nothing else.

The site

No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third party scripts other than the newsletter form. Nothing is stored in your browser except a single preference for light or dark mode, which never leaves your device.

The newsletter

Signing up sends your email address to Kit, which handles the sending. Kit records the standard things an email platform records: whether an email was delivered, whether it was opened, whether a link was clicked. This is used to tell whether an issue landed, not to build a profile of you.

Your address is never sold, rented, shared or used for anything other than sending you this newsletter.

Leaving

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no confirmation step, no “are you sure.” Unsubscribing removes you from the list immediately.

If you would rather be deleted entirely rather than marked unsubscribed, reply to any issue and say so, and it will be done.

Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, the change goes out in an issue rather than quietly appearing here.
